Why Volunteer?

Volunteering is such a great way to learn About Africa and yourself!

Maybe you’re not sure why you want to volunteer but here are some good reasons why.

Experience new cultures, ways of life and immerse yourself in the real South Africa and take on a challenge.
Meet other people from different countries and cultures, and in return learn more about the world we live in and how we are all connected and can work together for a better future.

Build your confidence! Maybe it’s the first time you’ve traveled alone or tried something completely different. It’s important to push yourself out of your comfort zone, it’s amazing what you learn about yourself!
Dare to be different, and create your journey, the more you put in the more you will get out!

It can allow a great insight into a professional field of work that you might be interested in. Teaching, social work, sports coaching, welfare, environmental, marine conservation. You will learn a lot!
You can make a difference, be a part of the community and have fun!

Travel Today

As we are all aware the world has changed since COVID and let’s hope that we can turn it into a positive thing.

“Life begins at the end of your comfort zone” – Neale Donald Walsh

What we have noticed is that people have less time and money to travel however people want to maximize their time and experience while in South Africa, so we have created the best of both worlds for you!
We can cater to your needs whether you are a digital nomad or want to bring a whole group of people we can make it happen for you.

You can now volunteer and work. Or volunteer and explore on the same day!
You can choose to either volunteer for a project in the morning from 8 am – 12 noon giving you the afternoons free to work or explore.
Or should you prefer to work or explore in the mornings you can then go to the project in the afternoon
from 2 pm – 6 pm.

Here is a list of the projects available in the morning:

Teach for Africa
Grace, Gratitude & Grow

Here is a list of the projects available in the afternoon:

Skate, Learn, Play
Happy horse

Please note you must choose 1 project for a minimum of 1 week (Monday – Friday)
(you cannot go to a different project each day)

We have also put together a number of options showcasing the best of Cape Town sights and activities, so all the hard work is done you just need to arrive!

Choose from the following:

Adventure
Culture
Tailored

Or maybe you can’t decide what you would like to do and would like a little taster. We too can arrange a call and discuss what best would suit you.
